Okay so lately I have been noticing a lot of resistance to us as missionaries and it took one man getting up in my face and telling me that we were wrong. My response was me trying to bear my testimony to him and him cutting me off so I ended to conversation knowing that nothing good would come from this for ether of us and walked away. After the conversation it hit me and reminded me of something Christ had said to his disciples in Luke 9 49 and 50 it states "And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. 50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us. 

First post and purpose of this blog

Hi my name is Elder Coleman Spencer I am currently on a mission in Orange County California for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am 20 years old and from Redmond Washington. As a missionary we are called for two years to serve the Lord(I am almost a year into mine), inviting others to learn about him and to follow his example. As we do so we strengthen or own testimony in him. It is hard work there are really good days and bad days but through it all I have come to know the He is there and that He will always be there. I am so grateful for this experience being here many say that these will be the best two years of your life and I have come to know that this has been the best two year for my life. For those reading this though I am a representative of the church the things I post here are my experiences and may or may not be the official stand of the church. I hope that what I post here may reach those who are struggling with there faith or strengthen those who are are not. We as missionaries in the California Anaheim Mission have been blessed to use social media to spread the gospel.      I know that as I know I live this day that Christ and Heavenly father do also and that he still talks to use his children. As we use his atonement we can get through anything that is unfair or wrong in our lives. It will not be easy at times but it is always possible.
